by using muse, you agree to these terms. if you don't agree, please don't use our service. we reserve the right to update these terms at any time, so check back occasionally.

service description

muse is a personal productivity platform that combines notes, tasks, rich-text pages, mood journaling, habit tracking, and an AI assistant into one beautifully designed experience. available on iOS, macOS, and the web—remember, the app is meant to be helpful, not infallible.

acceptable use

you agree to:

• use the app for personal productivity, note-taking, and task management
• keep your account credentials secure
• not use the service for illegal or harmful purposes
• respect others' privacy and intellectual property
• comply with all applicable laws and regulations

prohibited activities

you must not:

• use the service for harassment, stalking, or malicious purposes
• attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or compromise our systems
• upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• violate anyone's privacy or intellectual property rights
• use bots or automated systems to abuse the service
• resell or redistribute our service without permission

your content

the notes, tasks, pages, and other content you create in muse belong to you. we don't access, read, or share your personal content. your data is synced securely via our cloud infrastructure and is handled per our privacy policy.

payments & subscriptions

muse offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions to unlock premium features including additional AI credits, advanced tools, and more.

payment will be charged to your apple id account at confirmation of purchase. subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. you can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your app store account settings after purchase.

muse also uses a credit-based system for AI features. credits are consumed when you interact with the AI assistant, with usage varying by model and feature. credit balances and refill policies are subject to your subscription tier.

intellectual property

muse, our logo, and all original content are owned by bypass inc. you may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property without explicit permission. you retain ownership of the notes and content you create.

limitation of liability

muse is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. we're not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to AI-generated content. use at your own risk.

privacy & data

your privacy matters to us. please review our privacy policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data. by using muse, you also agree to our privacy practices.

termination

we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. you can also delete your account at any time from your profile settings. upon termination, your data will be handled per our privacy policy.

governing law

these terms are governed by the laws of japan. any disputes will be resolved in the courts of tokyo, japan. if any provision is found unenforceable, the rest of the terms remain in effect.
